Property & Farm Care

Weekly care for every machine on your property.

When you have several machines, waiting until something breaks gets expensive quickly. We put your machinery on a regular preventative-maintenance schedule and come to you every week.

Who it’s for

Acreage properties

A mower, a slasher, a pump and a generator, and no time to keep track of them all.

Farms

When the machinery stops, the work stops. Regular attention keeps it running.

Businesses

Grounds, facilities and operators who rely on several machines being ready to go.

Machinery we look after

Depending on your property, your plan can include:

  • Ride-on and zero-turn mowers
  • Slashers
  • Pumps
  • Generators
  • Brush cutters and small engines
  • Chippers
  • Other property machinery

Not sure if something qualifies? Tell us what you’ve got and we’ll let you know.

What’s checked

The exact checklist depends on each machine. Visits generally include:

  • Greasing and lubrication points
  • Engine, hydraulic and other fluids
  • Oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel leaks
  • Hoses and belts
  • Tyres and batteries
  • Mower decks, blades and spindles
  • Cooling systems
  • Wear, loose components and developing faults

Find the $100 problem before it becomes the $2,000 problem.

A small hydraulic leak, a loose component or a low fluid level can become a major repair if it goes unnoticed. A hose that’s beginning to leak can usually be spotted during a routine inspection. Left alone, with the machine still working while it loses oil, the damage can be considerably more expensive.

Weekly visits give you the chance to deal with problems while they’re still small.

Weekly scheduled visits

We come on an agreed day each week and work through your machinery on a set schedule. Not every machine needs the same attention every week, so we plan the rotation around how each one is used.

A record for every machine

Each machine has its own service history: hours, inspection dates, maintenance done, problems found and repairs completed. One place to see the state of everything you own.

Repairs quoted separately

When we find a fault, we explain it, tell you how urgent it is and price the repair. Repairs, parts and major servicing are only done once you approve them.

A plan built around your property

Every property is different, so Property & Farm Care is quoted individually. Your price depends on the number and type of machines, how hard they work, and the time needed at your property.

How we quote

  1. Tell us what you’ve got: the machines and roughly how they’re used.
  2. We visit (free, no obligation) and look over your machinery.
  3. You get a plan with a visit schedule and a fixed monthly price.

Available in Newrybar & surrounds, Ballina and Alstonville.

Common questions

Do all my machines need to be on the plan?

No. We’ll agree which machines are included when we set up your plan, and you can add more later.

What happens if something breaks between visits?

Call us and we’ll arrange a repair visit. Repairs are quoted and charged separately.

Can we do fortnightly instead of weekly?

Weekly suits most multi-machine properties, but tell us how your machinery is used and we’ll recommend a schedule.
